The Country Club

Community, social activities and recreation are at the heart of living at Smoky Mountain Country Club. Our clubhouse, situated on a beautiful mountainside overlooking the golf course and Conleys Creek, and possessing close-up views of the Smoky Mountains in all directions, features indoor and terrace dining at The Oaks Restaurant, a health club and our swim and tennis center. Enjoy the scenic and large patio for sunbathing around the pool, as well as lighted courts for evening tennis.

The Oaks Restaurant just might be the finest dining experience you have ever had. World-renowned Executive Chef Tim Hanley presents a cuisine unmatched in this region of the country. Our residents enjoy his array of nightly specials complementing our continental menu. Terry Hunter, our bar manager and wine steward, always has just the right recommendation to accompany Chef Hanley’s exquisite culinary delights.

Located adjacent to our clubhouse is our golf complex, which is home to our 18-hole mountain golf course, driving range, chipping area and putting green. Golf course architect Thomas Walker comes to Smoky Mountain Country Club as the former lead designer for Gary Player Design Company. Drawing on his more than 25 years of experience in golf course design, Mr. Walker has created a golf experience which is enjoyable and challenging for players of all skill levels. Soaring mountain peaks provide a spectacular backdrop, scenically framing our bluegrass fairways, Bermuda tees and bent grass greens.
